Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to create individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers as part of a patient's continuum of care.
• Deliver high-quality patient interactions, engaging with individuals of all ages and cultures to foster trust and understanding.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans accurately, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
• Engage in re-evaluations and adjustment of treatment plans based on patient progress, providing continual education and support.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and referral sources to enhance patient care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and contribute to program development, leadership functions, and marketing efforts.
• Maintain and improve professional competence through self-study, attendance at in-service programs, and continuing education opportunities.
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff and students, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
• Manage department resources efficiently, including supervision of assigned support staff while monitoring productivity and quality of care.
• Communicate openly with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge strategies.
• Regularly update physicians on patient progress and any necessary adjustments to prescribed treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Vista Therapy Group offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
