Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance Therapies, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality, patient-centric care by managing the comprehensive therapeutic processes for an assigned patient group, ensuring collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Conducting detailed patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that target specific goals, enhance patient engagement, and foster positive rehabilitation experiences.
• Delivering physical therapy interventions in accordance with practice laws and ethical guidelines, ensuring protocols are consistently followed.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to assess and evaluate rehabilitative needs and proactively participating in the holistic development of patient care plans.
• Administering skilled therapeutic care within the office setting, employing appropriate techniques and modalities that align with physician directives.
• Instructing patients, their families, and caregivers on exercise regimens, therapeutic appliances, and functional enhancement tools to empower them in their recovery process.
• Prioritizing caseload management, ensuring effective staffing solutions and seamless hand-offs to optimize patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, ranging from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to athletes in need of rehabilitative support. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting is advantageous but not required; we welcome new graduates.

Compensation and Benefits
