The Transformative Therapy Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Outpatient Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Dulles, Virginia. Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to patients in an outpatient setting, following established protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
Implement individualized treatment programs derived from comprehensive assessments and treatment plans created by the overseeing physical therapist.
Conduct thorough evaluations, involving the review of patient history and specific assessments to determine treatment recommendations and document outcomes accurately.
Effectively manage discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care, maintaining meticulous records of documentation, including initial evaluations, daily encounters, progress summaries, and discharge assessments.
Stay compliant with all corporate and clinical service training, adhering to state, local, and federal regulations that govern our practice.
Evaluate and treat patients who require physical therapy, articulating the medical necessity of treatment through clear and concise documentation.
Engage in respectful communication with colleagues, healthcare providers, patients, and families to promote a team-oriented approach to care.
Participate in facility meetings and contribute to team discussions aimed at enhancing the quality of care and operational effectiveness.
The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and will often include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. Each patient’s journey is unique, and as a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in guiding them through their rehabilitation process, ensuring they receive the personalized attention necessary to meet their goals.
A graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in an outpatient setting.
Experience in treating a diverse orthopedic population and familiarity with modern therapeutic techniques and tools.
