We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness. This full-time position is based in our outpatient clinic located in the scenic Marco Island, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, focusing on rehabilitating individuals with mobility challenges and enhancing their overall functions. The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, depending on experience.

Work Environment

Working onsite at our outpatient facility, you will be part of a vibrant and collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Your schedule may range from Monday to Friday, with options for varying start and end times, or the flexibility of four 10-hour shifts, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify movement dysfunctions and mobility restrictions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and improved functional outcomes.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to streamline patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment coverage.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about exercises, pain management strategies, and recovery practices to reinforce ongoing care beyond the clinic.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in our digital health records system, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient clientele, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or striving to regain mobility after injuries. Our approach leverages individualized care plans designed to meet the specific needs of each patient, all within a supportive environment that emphasizes their health journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a relevant field from an accredited program.
• Active Florida PT License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a proven track record of improving patient outcomes.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in physical therapy.
