Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, analyzing functional limitations and developing personalized treatment plans that directly address their needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on clinical outcomes and individual patient feedback.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring interns and residents, providing hands-on training and guidance in physical therapy best practices.
• Prepare and lead in-service educational sessions to enhance team knowledge, clinical skills, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to create a well-rounded approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse array of patients, predominantly those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will develop strong therapeutic relationships, focusing on holistic care and addressing both physical and emotional aspects of recovery. By delivering targeted rehabilitation strategies, you will contribute to restoring patients’ abilities to perform daily activities and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a strong foundation in orthopedic practices.
• Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge and competencies in this specialty area.

Compensation and Benefits
