Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Garden Grove, California. In this pivotal role, you will work directly with patients in an outpatient setting to enhance their range of motion, mobility, and overall quality of life. Work Environment

Our facility offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will be part of a small but passionate team, composed of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The onsite setting promotes hands-on treatment and fosters direct interaction with patients, enabling you to implement effective care strategies tailored to individual needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and physical capabilities, developing comprehensive treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Manage a focused patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring quality over quantity in your approach to therapy.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions, to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Engage patients in therapeutic exercises designed specifically to restore strength, flexibility, and functionality.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and outcomes achieved within our EMR system, specifically utilizing WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications and home exercises to promote health and prevent future injuries.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adapting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, which include individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, utilizing innovative techniques and modalities to optimize their recovery. Our patient-centric approach ensures that each individual receives tailored treatment, thereby improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist in California without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and implementing exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to engage patients effectively, fostering motivation and compliance throughout the treatment process.
• Experience in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to streamline patient care and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
