Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will be immersed in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our team is made up of highly qualified healthcare professionals, including fellow Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The clinic operates primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and while most schedules will follow this routine, occasional flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs and clinic demands.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals while ensuring safety and promoting pain relief.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and create home exercise programs that support ongoing recovery efforts.
• Administer various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under your supervision, to accelerate rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care, coordinating treatment strategies that enhance recovery outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patient rights at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals with various physical challenges. Each patient will have unique rehabilitation needs, and you will be responsible for tailoring your approach to effectively address those challenges, enhance their physical abilities, and promote overall wellness.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A fundamental understanding of rehabilitation principles and techniques.

Preferred Experience

While at least one year of relevant experience in a similar setting is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas of rehabilitation, such as sports therapy or pediatric care, will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits
