Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and recovery activities to promote healing and physical well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to facilitate continuous progress.
• Administer and supervise therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapies as necessary.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including adjustments in range of motion, strength, and functionality over time.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment, ensuring a clean and organized environment that prioritizes patient safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients, helping to foster motivation and a positive outlook during their rehabilitation process.
• Adhere to ethical practices and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients undergoing rehabilitation for injuries. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
