Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical capabilities and therapy needs to create individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy programs that target specific goals such as strength building, enhancing balance, and improving mobility.
• Apply specialized techniques, including manual therapy and various therapeutic modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to aid recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about home exercises, mobility improvement techniques, and strategies for fall prevention.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in compliance with HIPAA and facility regulations, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress reports.
• Engage in regular communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support integration of therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on seniors and individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic health concerns. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility.

Compensation and Benefits
