Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to assess their needs and progress, utilizing assessments such as range of motion, strength testing, and functional mobility analyses.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and consider each patient’s unique circumstances, goals, and lifestyles.
• Administer hands-on physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy, to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on the significance of adherence to treatment plans, guiding them on at-home exercises and self-care strategies to optimize recovery.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment progress, and adjustments to therapy plans in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, ensuring seamless collaboration with other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals, from athletes to elderly clients, all requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to regain mobility and improve their daily functioning. Your expertise will be key in guiding them through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• 3 years of clinical experience, which may include internships, clinical rotations, or professional practice.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in manual therapy and pain management techniques.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and techniques for optimizing patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
