Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in the scenic area of El Dorado Hills, known for its beautiful landscapes and community-centric ethos. Our clinic is designed with modern rehabilitation equipment and features a welcoming atmosphere that enables staff to form meaningful connections with their patients. The full-time schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess every patient’s orthopedic condition and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to restore mobility and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on essential topics related to body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and effective recovery methods.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Engage actively in community outreach initiatives to promote health education and accessibility in physical therapy.
• Maintain a supportive and motivating environment for patients and staff, fostering positivity and encouragement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters to a diverse population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recuperating from surgical procedures, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. We emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation, attending to both the physical and emotional well-being of our patients. The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in this process, working closely with clients to restore function and encourage a return to their pre-injury activities.

Qualifications

• A valid California State Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Solid clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients from varied backgrounds.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a positive clinic culture.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy is highly desirable; however, new graduates with strong clinical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience in patient education initiatives and community outreach is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
