Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to restore movement and alleviate discomfort.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate diverse techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress through thorough documentation and regular assessments, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient support and education.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques and the use of any prescribed assistive devices to promote independence in mobility and daily activities.
• Stay updated on industry developments by attending workshops, engaging with professional organizations, and participating in continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric, encompassing individuals with various conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal issues. Your role will involve creating effective treatment protocols tailored to each patient’s specific diagnosis, lifestyle, and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate degree preferred).
• Valid State of Florida license to practice physical therapy.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to analyze patient needs and devise effective treatment plans.
• Proficient computer skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with outpatient physical therapy, particularly in a rehabilitation facility.
• Prior work with pediatric or geriatric populations is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
