Peak Performance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our onsite rehabilitation facility in Tampa, Florida. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that empower patients to regain mobility, improve functionality, and enhance quality of life.

The work setting is onsite, providing you direct interaction with patients as well as the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and overall health status.
Develop and implement personalized treatment programs aligned with each patient’s specific goals and physician orders.
Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatment interventions, and progress notes in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, ensuring a cohesive approach to delivering high-quality patient care.
Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, to enhance the overall effectiveness of care.
Analyze the outcomes of therapeutic interventions, continually adjusting treatment plans to optimize patient recovery and function.
Provide coaching and mentoring to PTAs and support staff to cultivate their skills and enhance team performance.
Review potential challenges and solutions with the clinic Director to foster a culture of productivity and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will significantly impact these patients' rehabilitation journeys, enabling them to achieve their personal wellness goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the State of Florida is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with team members.
Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems is essential.
While a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting is required, additional experience with specialized rehabilitation techniques is preferred.
Experience in mentoring less experienced staff or students is a plus.
