Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is purely onsite, with a focus on home care services in Eugene, Oregon. You will engage with clients in the comfort of their homes, creating a supportive and personalized therapy environment. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule while meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations to assess children’s physical abilities and limitations, establishing a foundation for personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that align with the client’s goals and needs, while considering their unique environments.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing SOAP notes and care plans in our electronic record system, ensuring compliance with documentation timelines.
• Regularly reassess clinical signs and symptoms to gauge the effectiveness of ongoing treatments, making necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families about the therapy process, helping to navigate potential challenges and fostering a collaborative recovery environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care for clients receiving multiple therapy services within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on working with children and their families, allowing you to positively influence the developmental journey of young patients. Our clients vary widely in age, race, and diagnoses, providing an enriching experience that promotes professional growth and adaptability.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and unrestricted Physical Therapy licensure in Oregon.
• Willingness to perform evaluations and treatments both in-person and through telehealth as clinically appropriate.
• A passion for providing care to a diverse patient population, appreciating each client's unique background and needs.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum educational requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, candidates with a Master’s or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree are preferred. Experience working in home care settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
