This role will be conducted onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Stratford, Connecticut. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, continuously monitoring progress and outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to treat diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families, demonstrating excellent customer service and fostering trust and rapport.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplined team of healthcare providers to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Provide in-home visits when required to deliver therapeutic services, ensuring continuity of care aligned with the physician’s treatment plan.
• Educate and train patients and caregivers on treatment protocols and preventive care strategies to optimize recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Meet established minimum utilization and other performance metrics aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a broad spectrum of patients, addressing conditions that range from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience in a rehabilitation or related setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of our patients.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, along with familiarity with medical documentation processes and health care technology.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with patients, contributing positively to their rehabilitation journey and helping them achieve their functional goals.
• Experience in community engagement efforts to foster health and wellness beyond the clinic setting.
• Keen understanding of various therapeutic equipment and modalities relevant to physical therapy practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
