Work Environment

This position will be performed onsite in various home care settings across Port Saint Lucie, allowing for a flexible work schedule while ensuring direct interaction with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, analyzing their medical history and current symptoms to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and use specialized equipment to assist in rehabilitation, ensuring that all practices align with the latest industry standards.
• Educate patients and their families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and self-care techniques to facilitate recovery and maintain physical health.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that goals are consistently met and adjusted based on performance and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapist will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions related to orthopedic issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state licensure for Physical Therapy must be obtained prior to starting.

• Proficient communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, showcasing a proven ability to deliver high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
