Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate strength, mobility, and functional abilities, ensuring a holistic understanding of each patient's needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific health goals.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions directly, utilizing evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques to enhance recovery and rehabilitation.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, use of therapeutic appliances, and techniques for optimal recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Manage daily caseload effectively by prioritizing patient needs and coordinating assignments with other healthcare providers.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients to foster strong therapeutic relationships and drive positive health outcomes.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and adjustments to care plans according to regulatory and professional standards.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations as required, adjusting therapy protocols to meet evolving patient conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will include working with patients across a wide range of age groups, from children to seniors, addressing diverse orthopedic conditions. You will tailor your approach based on the individual needs and histories of each patient, ensuring that care is relevant, empathetic, and results-oriented, contributing to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• An earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the willingness to obtain it within 30 days of starting employment.
• New graduates and experienced therapists are welcomed to apply as no prior experience is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
