Position Overview

High Energy Body & Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Carteret, New Jersey. Work Environment

The role of the Physical Therapist will be performed in an outpatient office setting, situated in Carteret, NJ. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere where clinical excellence and team support are paramount. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Physical Therapist will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and implementing tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring physical function in line with each client's unique capabilities and goals.
• Supervising and guiding physical therapy assistants to ensure the accurate execution of care plans and maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical and functional abilities through the application of diagnostic tests to inform treatment approaches.
• Assessing patients’ home environments for rehabilitation needs, providing insights that facilitate increased independence and improved safety.
• Administering manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities including traction and massage to promote recovery and wellness.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to review and refine care plans, ensuring comprehensive support that adapts to the evolving needs of clients.
• Documenting patient progress through detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Providing ongoing education to clients and their families regarding their therapy regimens and the effective use of physical therapy aids.
• Engaging in case conferences to discuss and strategize about holistic treatment approaches for each client.
• Completing any additional assignments as necessary to support organizational objectives and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on a diverse outpatient population, encompassing individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and seeking rehabilitation for various musculoskeletal and neurological ailments. Clients will range from younger individuals to seniors, requiring adaptable communication and therapy techniques to ensure inclusive care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey, with a clean professional standing.
• Current CPR certification to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, ideally within acute care or home care settings.
• Strong decision-making capabilities with a sense of accountability for therapeutic outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
