Work Environment

This position operates in a dynamic and collaborative onsite environment, where you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse patient population in the Katy area. Our facility is designed to support comprehensive care, equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and modalities. You will be working Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs through detailed assessments, including functional movement screenings and strength tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on various treatment options, tailored exercises, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Create and implement comprehensive strength and conditioning programs aimed at improving general fitness, sports performance, and facilitating a successful return to the sport.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, and nutritionists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain current knowledge of advancements in physical therapy practices, sports medicine, and medical terminology to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a wide array of patients, including athletes from various sports backgrounds, weekend warriors, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. You will be at the forefront of helping these patients recover, prevent injuries, and optimize their physical performance through tailored interventions and guidance.

Qualifications

• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, compliant with Texas regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on sports performance, rehabilitation, and strength training.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and compassionate discourse.

Compensation and Benefits
