Work Environment

As a member of our orthopedic outpatient office, you will work in an onsite facility that emphasizes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and rehabilitation equipment designed to facilitate effective treatment. The standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you a healthy work-life balance while delivering impactful patient care in a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s specific needs and recovery goals.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, ensuring a tailored approach to each case.
• Maintain an organized caseload to guarantee focused attention to each patient throughout their therapy journey, fostering a trusting and supportive relationship.
• Regularly document progress and treatment responses using WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care approaches.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation exercises and self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who have a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. Your role is crucial in empowering these patients to regain function and independence by providing evidence-based care tailored to their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic care, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, with a commitment to staying current on best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and encourage patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a direct patient care role, specifically within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with WebPT or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track patient progress.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team, enhancing the scope and impact of patient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
