Work Environment

The work setting is a vibrant outpatient office located in the heart of Auburn, WA. Our clinic is designed to facilitate optimal patient care, featuring advanced equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and wellness coaches, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient treatment. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance for our dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions to assess their functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic exercises, modalities, and hands-on manual therapy techniques.
• Continuously monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients about injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs to encourage active participation in their healing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and optimize treatment approaches for complex cases.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions and maintain professional standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role demands a compassionate approach, actively engaging with patients to foster trust and encourage their involvement throughout the rehabilitation process. We believe that successful therapy extends beyond physical interventions; therefore, empathetic communication is critical in helping patients achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to document patient progress and manage treatment plans effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic with emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in specialized therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation, such as Dry Needling or Manual Therapy.
• Involvement in community outreach programs or initiatives that promote wellness and injury prevention.

Compensation and Benefits
