Danbury Hospital, part of Northwell Health, has an excellent opportunity for a per diemGastroenterologyPhysician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Danbury, CT.
Come join us on our exciting journey as we grow the Digestive Health Institute by joining our Northwell Health Medical Practice Gastroenterology Department. The position includes seeing patients both in the outpatient office and hospital, with a Monday-Friday workday schedulewith weekend rotation andwith no callresponsibility.We offer a comprehensive compensation package, includingcompetitivesalary, generous benefits, and allowances for CMEs and Dues. State of CT RN and APRN or PA license, CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA arerequired.
The ideal candidate will be aboard-certifiedPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.
Job Requirements:
Experience working with hepatobiliaryservices
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Federal DEA.
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology experiencepreferred

Salary: ($75/hr) Flat Per Diem Rate

Practicing in NY requires licensure through the New York State Education Department — Mental Health Practitioners. Prospective practitioners should verify current licensing requirements, continuing education obligations, and supervised experience hours directly with the board before applying.
