Work Environment

This full-time position entails working onsite at our hospital in Eugene, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday during regular business hours, although some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate evening or weekend shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical evaluations and pain assessments to accurately diagnose underlying pain causes, ensuring a holistic view that incorporates physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a mix of medical, pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Deliver consistent care and support for patients dealing with chronic pain, focusing on improving their functional capabilities and overall quality of life.
• Manage acute pain episodes resulting from injuries, surgeries, or procedures, employing evidence-based practices to minimize discomfort and optimize recovery.
• Prescribe and oversee medication regimens for pain management while carefully considering each patient’s unique preferences and potential side effects.
• Perform and supervise interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and epidural injections to effectively manage pain dynamically.
• Educate patients in pain management techniques, self-care strategies, and lifestyle adjustments to foster active participation in their pain relief journey.
• Maintain comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) that document patient histories, assessments, processes, and treatment recommendations.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitively set between $260,000 and $610,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
