Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, which includes interviewing them, taking medical histories, and performing physical examinations to evaluate their health status.
• Assist in clinical trials focused on comparing transrectal and transperineal prostate biopsy techniques, including managing patient recruitment, consent processes, follow-ups, and data analysis.
• Interpret laboratory tests and make informed decisions regarding preliminary diagnoses and the treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on wellness strategies and disease management, ensuring they understand their conditions and the proposed treatments.
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans according to institutional protocols and physician agreements.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient evaluations and interactions to ensure continuity of care.
• Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries, managing phone consultations and providing timely updates regarding treatment protocols and test results.
• Facilitate communication between patients, the urology team, and any other healthcare professionals involved in patient care to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Regularly attend outpatient clinics to provide hands-on care and address patient follow-up needs.
• Engage in clinical mentorship, offering guidance and support to new healthcare staff and students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Demonstrate leadership within the team by optimizing clinical processes and contributing to the overall goals of the surgical center.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in urology.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
