Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Cincinnati, ensuring direct access to our comprehensive medical resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed patient assessments and compiling medical histories to formulate accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.
• Performing physical examinations and ordering diagnostic tests to aid in the evaluation of health issues and determining appropriate treatment protocols.
• Administering vaccinations and medications, along with educating patients about preventive health measures and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, and facilitating referrals to specialists when advanced care is necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system to ensure quality and compliance.
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and remaining informed on the latest medical practices and updates.
• Fostering a compassionate environment for patients, providing support and building strong relationships with their families.
• Adhering to all ethical and legal standards, while ensuring confidentiality and patient rights are respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a wide range of patients from various demographics, ensuring that individuals and families receive appropriate care throughout their life stages. Our practice holds a strong focus on preventive medicine, aimed at identifying potential health risks early and empowering our patients to improve their overall health.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA Certification and a valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a family practice or similar healthcare environment.
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience using the EPIC EMR documentation system and familiarity with its functionalities.
• Experience in preventive care practices and chronic disease management.
• Demonstrated skills in communication, critical thinking, and effective patient education.

Compensation and Benefits
