This position operates onsite within our hospital facility, working collaboratively alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. Our work environment prioritizes teamwork and open communication, allowing our staff to integrate various aspects of family medicine effectively. The schedule consists of full-time hours, specifically Monday through Friday, promoting work-life balance while serving our community.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, to ensure accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment planning.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare teammates to provide holistic care tailored to the unique needs of patients across all age groups.
Perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans that address each patient’s health concerns.
Administer vaccinations and medications, educating patients on preventive health measures to improve their overall health and quality of life.
Monitor chronic health conditions, coordinating referrals to specialized care when necessary while ensuring continuity of care.
Utilize the EPIC EMR system for precise and timely documentation of patient interactions, enhancing the efficiency of care delivery.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and remain informed about best practices in family medicine and emerging medical advancements.
Promote preventive care strategies actively to empower patients in maintaining their health and well-being.
Deliver compassionate care, fostering strong relationships with patients and their families to enhance the patient experience.
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in medical practice, maintaining patient confidentiality in all circumstances.
In this role, you will focus on a diverse patient population, ranging from infants and children to adults and seniors. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a valid PA Certification.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant is required to ensure competence in this role.
Strong critical thinking, effective communication, and time management skills are essential for success in this position.
Experience in family practice or primary care settings is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system will be an advantage, promoting seamless documentation and patient management.
