Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans through detailed medical histories and examinations.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Perform physical examinations and order necessary diagnostic tests, utilizing your expertise to interpret results and make informed clinical decisions.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and provide education on preventive healthcare and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual patient circumstances.
• Monitor and manage the care of chronic conditions while coordinating referrals for specialized services when necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient interactions through the EPIC EMR system to streamline processes and enhance patient care.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and best practices that enhance medical services.
• Promote preventive care measures with a focus on enhancing the overall health and quality of life for patients and the community.
• Build compassionate and lasting relationships with patients and their families, ensuring their concerns and needs are addressed.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all medical practices while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will care for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to seniors, addressing a variety of health concerns across different stages of life. Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a family practice setting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong abilities in active listening, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing the EPIC EMR documentation system is highly advantageous.
• Background in family medicine or a related field is preferred for better integration into our practice culture.
• A commitment to continuing professional development and medical education is encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits
