The Camp Premier Health Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients dealing with chronic pain issues, ensuring they receive both comprehensive assessments and effective treatment plans tailored to their needs.

This role is located onsite at our advanced Surgical Center equipped with the latest medical technology and resources. Our environment emphasizes collaboration and communication, allowing for seamless interactions among healthcare providers. You will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a balanced work-life structure.
Perform thorough patient assessments, taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical examinations to identify health issues related to pain.
Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs.
Execute necessary procedures and minor surgical interventions, such as joint injections or nerve blocks, under the guidance of attending physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients on understanding their medical conditions, discussing treatment options, and advising on lifestyle modifications that promote pain relief and overall wellness.
Maintain precise and comprehensive medical records, documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care and compliance with standards.
In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic experiencing various pain-related conditions, from acute injuries to chronic pain syndromes. You will engage with patients from various walks of life, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to their circumstances.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Valid and active State licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a pain management or related field.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently within the scope of your practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that emphasizes wellness and quality of life.
Experience with specific pain management procedures such as nerve blocks, joint injections, and other interventional pain management techniques.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate patient documentation and record management.
The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
