Work Environment

This position operates onsite in our hospital facility, where we foster a collaborative working environment among healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated patient panel while also accommodating overflow from physicians, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Perform clinical procedures including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, women’s wellness exams, and colposcopies (if trained), and circumcisions (if trained).
• Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system to maintain accurate patient records and enhance care coordination.
• Work closely with physicians for full support in clinical tasks, fostering a team-based approach to patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership training opportunities, enabling you to expand your skills and advance in your career.
• Participate in the APC council, which aids in addressing clinician needs and enhancing operational efficiencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Total Health Clinic, you will primarily focus on a diverse patient population in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This involves providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of women throughout various life stages, from routine wellness exams to prenatal care and beyond. Your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and health outcomes as you work to understand and address the specific concerns of each patient.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Possession of a current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, compliant with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Active listening, critical thinking, effective communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically within Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Familiarity with the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.

Compensation and Benefits
