As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patient health and well-being through the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and thorough physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, creating treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, X-rays, and other imaging studies to inform clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment protocols while ensuring adherence to current clinical guidelines.
• Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, health screenings, and educational counseling to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Handle routine follow-ups and annual wellness visits to monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Facilitate referrals to specialist care when clinically indicated to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate actively in team huddles, case reviews, and care coordination efforts to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Document patient interactions promptly and accurately in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing practice protocols and patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses individuals of all ages, with a focus on providing holistic care that addresses their diverse backgrounds and healthcare needs. The role involves working closely with patients experiencing various health conditions while also contributing to preventive care initiatives designed to enhance community health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in California.
• NCCPA certification with a current DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• At least two years of clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine preferred but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and rapport building.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, Mandarin, or other languages) are considered a plus.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are more than welcome, candidates with prior experience in primary care settings or internal medicine will find this role particularly aligned with their expertise. Familiarity with team-based care models and EMR systems will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $135,000 annually, alongside a robust benefits package that includes:
