Dynamic Health Care System is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations, to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care tailored to the needs of patients across all age groups.
Utilize diagnostic testing; interpret results accurately to formulate appropriate treatment plans and implement ongoing patient management strategies.
Administer vaccinations and medications as needed, while educating patients about preventive health practices and lifestyle changes that promote long-term wellness.
Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, ensuring that referrals to specialists are made seamlessly when required, to support continued patient care.
Ensure meticulous documentation of patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system, adhering to compliance standards and maintaining accurate records.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and safety, staying informed of the latest advancements in medical treatments.
Provide patient-centered care by developing trusting relationships with patients and their families, fostering an atmosphere where patient concerns are heard and addressed.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in clinical practice, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient rights.
You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and varying healthcare needs. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current Physician Assistant certification and an active state license are mandatory.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, ideally within a family medicine setting.
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
Experience utilizing the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation is advantageous.
Proficiency in managing chronic conditions and providing preventive care strategies.
Strong clinical acumen with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
