Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough medical evaluations and detailed pain assessments to identify the underlying causes of patients’ pain, taking into account psychological and social determinants.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating varied approaches such as pharmaceutical interventions, physical therapy, and alternative medicine aimed at effective pain management.
• Monitor and provide ongoing management for patients with chronic pain, focusing on both symptom relief and functional improvement, while regularly adjusting treatment protocols based on patient feedback.
• Address acute pain management needs with a strong emphasis on minimizing discomfort following injuries, surgeries, or other medical procedures.
• Prescribe medications responsibly, considering potential interactions and patient preferences, while regularly monitoring their efficacy and side effects.
• Conduct interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections, to manage complex pain syndromes effectively.
• Educate patients on managing their pain through self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR), ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Compensation and Benefits
