Work Environment

This full-time PA role will take place onsite at our hospital facility in Jamaica, New York. The work setting enables hands-on interaction with patients and collaboration with various clinical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists. Our center is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and telehealth capabilities, allowing us to provide comprehensive healthcare services effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients presenting with personal injuries, compiling detailed patient histories to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe appropriate medications including NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, and medicated patches based on clinical assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, such as MRIs, to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote consultations and follow-ups, expanding our reach and accessibility to patients.
• Facilitate referrals to physical therapy and specialized pain management services to ensure patients receive the comprehensive care they require.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
