Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite at our hospital facility in Glendale, Arizona, where you will have access to state-of-the-art medical resources and technologies. You will work approximately 40 hours per week during typical clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There may also be on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis to ensure 24/7 patient coverage for emergencies and urgent care needs.

Key Responsibilities

As an ENT Physician Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive medical assessments and physical examinations on patients presenting with otolaryngology-related complaints.
• Diagnosing various conditions and formulating individualized treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, recommending therapies, or referring patients for specialized care.
• Ordering, interpreting, and explaining the results of diagnostic tests such as imaging studies or lab work to patients and their families.
• Providing patient education on preventative care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and overall health.
• Collaboration with otolaryngologists and various healthcare team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date electronic medical records that reflect patient care activities and outcomes.
• Staying informed about the latest advancements in ENT treatments and protocols through continuous medical education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adults and children experiencing a range of ENT conditions, including but not limited to allergies, sinusitis, hearing loss, and throat disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in developing tailored care solutions, ensuring each patient's needs and concerns are addressed thoroughly and compassionately.

Qualifications

• A current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a strong emphasis on clinical practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with both patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits
