Work Environment

Your role as an ENT Physician Assistant will take place onsite at our surgical center, where a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers supports each patient's journey. The work environment is lively and fast-paced, with clinic hours typically running from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While primarily a clinic-based role, you may also have rotational on-call responsibilities to ensure optimal care and immediate support for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients presenting with various ENT conditions, such as sinus issues, hearing loss, and voice disorders.
• Diagnose patient conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and audiometric evaluations, to ensure accurate diagnosis and care.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians and other healthcare team members, participating in case discussions to enhance patients’ outcomes.
• Maintain precise electronic medical records (EMRs), documenting all patient interactions, medical histories, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ENT practices and incorporate new knowledge into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ENT Physician Assistant will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children with congenital ear problems to adults suffering from chronic sinusitis or allergies. By tailoring care to each patient's unique circumstances, you play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through specialized treatment plans and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Your application should include a current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license.
