Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite within a hospital setting, working from Monday to Friday, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, concluding at 5:00 PM. The facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and an efficient workflow that caters to a diverse patient population, making it a vibrant place to advance your clinical skills and interact with peers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient medical histories to establish their health needs.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to guide clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose a range of health conditions and illnesses, providing immediate and long-term care solutions.
• Develop and propose effective treatment plans for both chronic and acute health issues, adapting to evolving patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, schedules, and documentation to support seamless healthcare delivery.
• Educate patients and their families on managing diseases, understanding their health conditions, and implementing prevention strategies.
• Provide oversight and continuous evaluation of patients’ health status, promoting overall wellness in the community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research to enhance clinical knowledge and practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult patients across a spectrum of health conditions, with an emphasis on managing chronic diseases and supporting acute care situations. You will interact with a diverse clientele, requiring cultural sensitivity and adaptability to various patient needs. By actively participating in their healthcare journey, you will contribute to improved health outcomes and increased satisfaction across the patient demographic.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field is required, along with a valid California State Physician Assistant license.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital, emergency room, or clinic setting is essential.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) and a current DEA number are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of health and patient care regulations, coupled with excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to ethical practices, teamwork, patience, and continuous learning is critical.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in primary care settings, with specialization in acute care or chronic disease management preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and practice management systems to enhance clinical workflows.
• Bilingual capabilities are beneficial but not mandatory, enabling better communication within the community.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
