Light and Hope Wellness Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to become an integral part of our dedicated healthcare team. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Hendersonville, allowing you to engage directly with patients and team members in a vibrant healthcare environment. The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, providing a balanced work-life approach without the demands of weekend shifts. Our facility is equipped with modern medical technology and resources that enhance our clinical capabilities, ensuring optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations and review medical histories to establish assessments and treatment plans.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging studies, to support clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose a range of health conditions and devise effective treatment strategies for both chronic and acute illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, monitoring patient progress closely and adjusting as needed.
• Maintain detailed medical records and patient schedules to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to encourage better health outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurse practitioners, to deliver integrated care and support.
• Engage in ongoing research and professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position is focused on serving a diverse patient population in primary care, including families and individuals of all ages. As a Physician Assistant, you will address a variety of health concerns, ranging from routine check-ups to complex chronic conditions, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care. Your role will directly impact patient outcomes, promoting a culture of health and wellness throughout our community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on healthcare; a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant is required.
• A valid Tennessee State Physician Assistant license and certification (PA-C) are mandatory.
• A DEA number must be obtained prior to prescribing medications in practice.
• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in clinical settings, particularly in primary care, acute care, or urgent care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in various specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, and emergency care is highly desirable.
• Competence in using electronic health record systems and familiarity with healthcare regulations is an advantage.
• Bilingual skills can further enhance communication with a diverse patient base but are not required.

Compensation and Benefits
