Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant at Grand Access Medical Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose illnesses and formulate effective treatment plans under the supervision of licensed physicians.
• Performing a variety of medical procedures, assisting in surgeries, and providing necessary follow-up care.
• Educating patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with a designated physician to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring a team-based approach to healthcare delivery.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications within your scope of practice, and facilitating referral processes as necessary.
• Participating in the continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Providing guidance on preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals and self-care strategies.
• Utilizing strong assessment skills to identify any serious conditions and direct patients to emergency services when necessary.
• Assisting in patient flow through triage and other nursing duties to promote efficient clinic operations.
• Documenting all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment outcomes, and patient education thoroughly and accurately.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervising physician, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to the clinic's needs.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
