Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to diagnose health issues under the supervision of licensed physicians.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest medical guidelines.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process, while also performing necessary pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and daily health management strategies to empower patients in their healthcare journey.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing care coordination.
• Participate in healthcare team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will work with a wide-ranging patient demographic, from adolescent to geriatric populations, with varying healthcare needs. Our patients often require surgical interventions, rehabilitation, and preventive care, necessitating a holistic understanding of diverse medical conditions and the competencies to address each patient’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a robust foundation in patient assessment and care across multiple medical specialties.
• Excellent clinical judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and convey complex medical information to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in surgical settings or familiarity with orthopedic, general, or specialized surgery.
• Prior work or training in a fast-paced healthcare environment, adapting quickly to dynamic situations and patient needs.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other digital health tools to enhance patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physician Assistant position ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
