Work Environment

The role is performed entirely onsite at our Surgical Center located in Woodbridge, NJ, where we prioritize patient-focused care in a facility designed for efficient healthcare delivery. You will enjoy a stable work schedule of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, without the burden of on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in our OBGYN department, you will:

• Manage your own patient panel while also handling physician overflow, ensuring optimal care delivery for all patients.
• Collaborate closely with our Medical Doctors, benefiting from their support in treatment decisions and patient management.
• Engage in procedures such as IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, and women’s wellness exams, with the opportunity to perform colposcopies and circumcisions if trained.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Participate in our Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Council, contributing to ongoing professional development and patient care discussions.
• Receive leadership training and mentoring options to cultivate your clinical and managerial skills within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve women in various life stages, ranging from adolescence to menopause, ensuring comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. This position requires a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through preventative care, education, and timely management of health concerns.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An active Physician Assistant Certification along with an unrestricted state medical license.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of mandatory full COVID-19 vaccination per federal and state regulations, including any applicable booster doses.
• Demonstrated competency in obstetric and gynecologic care, with the ability to handle expected clinical duties effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, communication, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Experience

Although not mandatory, candidates with experience using EPIC EMR systems will be highly regarded. Additional experience or training specifically in Obstetrics and Gynecology is advantageous and will enhance your candidacy for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
