Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with acute and chronic pain, using advanced diagnostic skills to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer and assist with various pain management procedures, which may include trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and other interventions.
• Collaborate with case management teams to ensure smooth discharge planning, providing ongoing support and resources for patients transitioning out of our care.
• Engage with healthcare professionals across specialties to coordinate patient referrals and consultations, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s health are considered.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes to meet legal and insurance standards, effectively managing any denials that arise.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, offering specialized care and guidance while potentially contributing to an on-call rotation for emergency interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• An active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
