Work Environment

The position is predominantly onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional evening or weekend shifts based on patient care needs. Flexibility in your schedule may be required to ensure the delivery of comprehensive pain management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and pain assessments to accurately diagnose underlying pain issues, considering holistic factors like physical conditions and psychological well-being.
• Formulate tailored treatment plans that integrate pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches, ensuring a multidisciplinary framework for pain relief.
• Monitor chronic pain patients, focusing on improving their functionality, minimizing pain severity, and enhancing overall well-being through continuous support and care.
• Address and manage acute pain situations resulting from injuries or surgical interventions using evidence-based methodologies to alleviate discomfort and enhance recovery.
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor medications for effective pain control, ensuring a balance between efficacy, safety, and adherence to patient preferences.
• Administer and supervise interventional pain management procedures including nerve blocks and epidural injections, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients on effective self-care strategies and lifestyle modifications that empower them in their pain management journey, facilitating greater independence and quality of life.
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR), documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations to support coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from those experiencing acute pain due to surgical or medical procedures to individuals managing chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, neuropathic pain, and fibromyalgia. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active state medical license in good standing.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
