Silver Cross Family Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Center team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The successful applicant will be working onsite at our cutting-edge Surgical Center located in Cincinnati, Ohio. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide a supportive and efficient environment for both healthcare professionals and patients. Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories from patients to assess their physical and mental conditions.
Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to accurately identify patient health concerns.
Prescribe and manage medical therapies and interventions in line with established healthcare protocols, ensuring optimal patient safety and care quality.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members when necessary.
Advise patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, medication management, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records to maintain both compliance and continuity of care.
Provide specialized consultations and services related to cardiology and other relevant conditions, applying your expertise to manage complex patient care situations.
Participate in and contribute to departmental meetings, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Perform targeted procedures as delegated by supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to safety and competency protocols.
Flexibly support departmental needs, which may include adjusting schedules to ensure adequate coverage for patient care responsibilities.
The Physician Assistant will primarily focus on adult patients with a variety of cardiac conditions, from routine check-ups to more complex surgical evaluations and post-operative care. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
A valid Physician Assistant license and certification, along with prescriptive authority as recognized by state and federal regulations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities for problem-solving complex health issues.
Prior experience working in a surgical center or cardiology practice, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care principles.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software, enhancing efficiency and patient record accuracy.
