Location: Buffalo, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and home care environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories for patients.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
  • Perform procedures such as catheterization, suturing, and administering injections.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including ER protocols and critical care interventions.
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using appropriate coding practices for billing purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant license in New York
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Board certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient or primary care setting preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply)
  • Proficiency in patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
