Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Rosedale, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Patient Care: Perform thorough physical exams, assess medical histories, and order necessary tests. Provide care for a wide variety of conditions, including both acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, prescribe medications, and follow up with patients to monitor progress.
  • Collaboration: Partner with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure a comprehensive care plan for patients.
  • Health Education: Offer patient education on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and managing chronic conditions.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions.
  • Patient Advocacy: Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, ensuring patients are informed and feel comfortable with their treatment options.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Physician Assistant license in Maryland
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
