Job Description

We’re looking for a Physician Assistant in Pain Management to join our team.

Job Overview:

Currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to evaluate and diagnose chronic pain patients, identify candidates for interventional pain management procedures, and provide chronic medication management.

Job Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY (9:00AM-5:00PM)

Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 with full benefits

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate and diagnose chronic pain patients, identify candidates for interventional pain management procedures, and provide chronic medication management
  • Prescribes medications according to therapeutic goals, explains treatment to patients, and families.
  • Consults with physicians and other members of the health care team as necessary.
  • Assesses, diagnoses, implements treatment, evaluates and monitors patients' health status.
  • Performs complete physical examinations on patients.
  • Diagnoses acute and chronic illness based on clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports and/or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols.
  • Formulates, initiates and monitors patient management plans for patients assigned to the Physician Assistant, using guidelines and/or consultation with a supervising physician.

What You Need to Qualify:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Active licensure to practice as a PA
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong work ethic, with a dedication to working in a team-oriented and performance-driven healthcare setting.
