Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in the heart of Miami, operating in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a full-time Podiatrist, you will be expected to work 4 to 5 days per week, with occasional flexibility for early morning or evening patient appointments as needed. This hands-on role allows you to interact directly with a diverse patient population, delivering comprehensive care in a modern clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, which include reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic tests to accurately identify foot and ankle conditions.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, selecting appropriate non-surgical and surgical interventions as necessary.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, such as bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, and ankle fusions, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and manage orthotic devices to relieve pain, promote healing, and increase mobility.
• Deliver comprehensive foot care services that encompass diabetic foot care, wound management, and routine preventative care.
• Educate patients on preventive care practices and lifestyle adjustments to enhance long-term foot health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists, to provide holistic care and improved patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and necessary observations to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with advances in podiatric medicine.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors who present with a variety of foot and ankle issues, ranging from common ailments like plantar fasciitis to complex surgical cases. Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatric school.
• A valid state license to practice as a Podiatrist in Florida.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by relevant boards such as the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
• Proven experience diagnosing and treating a diverse array of foot and ankle conditions is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a podiatric role.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software.

Compensation and Benefits
