Mercy Technology Lab is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to expand our dynamic team in Lakewood, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting a variety of imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction, ultimately contributing to accurate diagnoses and enhanced patient outcomes.

Work Environment

The Radiologic Technologist position is based onsite at our Diagnostic Imaging Center located in the vibrant community of Lakewood, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with advanced imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography systems, allowing you to work at the forefront of medical technology. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and mammography, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Calibrate, maintain, and operate imaging equipment, carefully adjusting settings to obtain optimal images.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety during imaging.
• Analyze images post-procedure to verify the quality of scans and determine if additional imaging is necessary for accurate diagnostics.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to facilitate precise and timely diagnoses, contributing vital information to the treatment plans.
• Document and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accurate tracking of patient information.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in radiologic imaging through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Diagnostic Imaging Center serves a diverse range of patients, including infants, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens, each presenting unique imaging needs and challenges. The successful Radiologic Technologist will demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care, ensuring that all patients feel respected, informed, and comfortable during their imaging experiences.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating imaging equipment and a strong understanding of radiologic procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to patients and their families.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical imaging setting, showcasing the ability to adapt to varying patient demands and a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

Compensation and Benefits

Mercy Technology Lab offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
