Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and mammography, while adhering to established safety protocols.

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing reassurance and information to alleviate any concerns and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic images to assess if additional images are required or to identify any abnormalities, effectively communicating findings to the medical team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to facilitate timely diagnoses and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding patient privacy.
• Stay informed and educated about advancements in imaging technology and evolving best practices to continually enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field is required.
• A valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist are mandatory.
