Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Chandler, Arizona. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, offering Radiologic Technologists the opportunity to work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are equally dedicated to ensuring exemplary patient care. Your work schedule will primarily consist of Monday through Friday evening shifts, with the expectation of rotating weekends and being on-call as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopic studies, adhering to protocols established by the supervising Radiologist.
• Maintain vigilant observation of patients throughout each examination, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Generate high-quality radiographs, optimizing technical factors and utilizing appropriate restraining devices and equipment such as c-arms and portable units.
• Complete imaging studies within established productivity standards, ensuring timely delivery of results to contribute to effective patient management.
• Document and digitize patient films accurately, guaranteeing proper identification and retention of examination records.
• Consistently adhere to safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self during imaging procedures.
• Engage in professional development and participate in continuing education initiatives to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Support the Lead Technologist in resolving issues related to work methods, staff morale, and workflow efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Radiologic Technologist at Berwick Technology Lab, you will primarily serve a diverse pediatric patient population. Your work will directly impact the health and well-being of children, as you will perform and interpret imaging studies crucial for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your commitment to excellent patient care will ensure that each child receives the attention and quality care they deserve.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in radiology is essential.
• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be obtained upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA or ARC must be provided within the first 90 days of employment.
• Proficiency in radiation safety protocols and a foundational understanding of related technical processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pediatric healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and other digital imaging technologies is desirable.
• A background in providing education to patients and their families regarding imaging procedures.
• Mathematical proficiency to assist with imaging metrics and quality assurance processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
